Effective 11/2/2026. Last updated 10/22/2026.
These Terms include a mandatory arbitration agreement, a class-action waiver and a jury-trial waiver for users in the United States (Section 13 and the United States Annex). Please read them.
WeLove is run by LifeOasis Co., Ltd., a Korean company. Using WeLove means you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines, Child Safety Standards and Safety Tips, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
1.1 WeLove is a dating service for Christians seeking marriage. It is operated by LifeOasis Co., Ltd. (주식회사 라이프오아시스) ("WeLove", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in the Republic of Korea, 38 Achasan-ro (Gaepung Building), Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. You can reach us at [email protected]. Notices that the law requires to be sent by mail may be sent to the address in Section 17.7.
1.2 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WeLove mobile application, the website at welove-app.com and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the following documents, which form part of them: our Community Guidelines, Child Safety Standards, Safety Tips, and any terms shown to you when you make a purchase. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains our processing separately. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any specific consent required for sensitive information or international disclosure.
1.3 Changes. We may change these Terms. For changes that materially affect your rights — for example to pricing, refunds, the content licence, the limitation of liability or dispute resolution — we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app message before the change takes effect, and for changes to Sections 12 and 13 we will ask you to accept them again. For other changes we will give at least 7 days' notice in the app. If you do not agree to a change, you may delete your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the change.
1.4 Language. These Terms are written in English. Where we provide a translation, the English version governs to the extent local law allows.
1.5 Where these Terms apply. These Terms govern the international version of WeLove made available to you at registration. Existing Korean members remain subject to the Korean terms until a replacement is validly adopted and notified to them. Using one app, changing its language, or selecting a different app-store country does not by itself change your contract or remove mandatory protections where you live. Applicable country or state provisions prevail over inconsistent main terms. Service and feature availability may differ by market.
You must be 18 (or older where the law says so), able to enter a contract, and not banned. You must be one person with one account.
2.1 You may create an account and use the Service only if all of the following are true, and by using the Service you confirm that they are:
you are an individual (not a company or organisation) and are at least 18 years old (19 for the Korean service) and meet any additional minimum age required by applicable law;
you can lawfully enter into a binding contract with us;
you are not prohibited from using the Service by the law where you live;
you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
you have not been convicted of, or pleaded no contest to, a felony or indictable offence, or any crime involving violence, a threat of violence, or sexual misconduct, and you are not required to register as a sex offender with any government body;
you do not have another WeLove account, and you have not previously been removed from WeLove unless we have given you written permission to return; and
you are using the Service for its purpose: to meet someone with a view to a committed relationship or marriage.
